At our headquarters in Parma, two-day meeting to analyze developments in the HARMONISE project for Positive Energy Districts
On December 4 and 5, at its headquarters on Via Paradigna in Parma, Maps Group hosted the second General Assembly of the HARMONISE project, Hierarchical and Agile Resource Management Optimization for Networks in Smart Energy Communities, funded by the European Union’s Next Generation EU program.
The goal of HARMONISE is to create a scalable and easily integrated solution to support the technological, operational, and social aspects necessary to transition urban districts into Positive Energy Districts (PEDs).
By providing a detailed overview of energy demands, renewable energy sources (such as solar panels and wind turbines) and storage units can be deployed precisely where needed, thereby reducing or even eliminating environmental impact.
All the working groups involved, from various countries of the European Union, presented their contributions. Two intense days of activities, which also saw the participation of our Research&Solutions Team, together with Vieri Emiliani, Head of Innovation and Gian Luca Cattani, Innovation & Development Director.
