Maps S.p.A. joins the Intermonte Valore Italia Index

Indice Intermonte Valore Italia - Maps S.p.A.

The Index is part of PMI2CHANGE, an initiative developed by Banca Generali and Intermonte to highlight the value of Italian SMEs, their growth potential, and the strategic role of capital markets in business development.

Maps S.p.A. is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of the one hundred companies listed on Borsa Italiana included in the Intermonte Valore Italia Index, dedicated to SMEs with a market capitalisation of less than one billion euros and not included in the FTSE MIB.

The Intermonte Valore Italia Index

The Index was created to enhance the profile of Italy’s listed small and medium-sized enterprises, establishing a meeting point between entrepreneurship, capital markets and the national economic system.

It offers a representative cross-section of some of the strongest areas of expertise within the Italian economy, helping to broaden and diversify investment opportunities beyond traditional indices for both domestic and international investors.

Companies are selected according to rigorous technical and financial criteria designed to ensure appropriate levels of liquidity, transparency and investability. These include minimum free float, solid governance standards, analyst coverage, financial sustainability and debt levels, and representativeness within the Index itself.

PMI2CHANGE: the initiative dedicated to Italian listed SMEs

The Index is part of PMI2CHANGE, the innovative project launched by Banca Generali on 1 July 2026 at Borsa Italiana’s Palazzo Mezzanotte. An initiative that aims to support the growth and competitiveness of Italian entrepreneurs by fostering the development of Italian listed SMEs.

The project addresses the issue of limited liquidity and valuation among listed SMEs, helping to create the best possible conditions for a more efficient connection between capital and businesses.

PMI2CHANGE draws on the expertise of Intermonte, a leading Italian operator with more than thirty years’ experience in financial markets, particularly in SME research, sales and trading, market making and investment banking. Intermonte has been part of the Banca Generali Group since the beginning of 2025.

From the Index to the launch of an actively managed ETF to generate new investment flows

Starting from the Index, Banca Generali, together with Investlinx and Intermonte, has launched a new actively managed, PIR-compliant ETF that will invest primarily in the universe defined by the Index.

Banca Generali has committed to supporting the launch of the instrument with an initial fundraising target of 100 million euros in the first few months, with exposure expected to grow gradually to 500 million euros over the medium term.

The initiative is therefore estimated to generate new investment flows of 1–2 million euros per day, representing more than 5% of the Index’s free float.
