Simulating Energy Communities in the new regulatory context: ROSE Energy Community designer implements the TIAD and the MASE draft decree
ARERA‘s recent approval of the TIAD (Consolidated Text on Collective Self-Consumption) has clarified the definitions for individual and collective self-consumption, energy communities and incentivised shared electricity, thus defining the new limits of the regulatory environment. The MASE (Ministry of Environment and Energy Security) draft implementing decree, which incentivises the dissemination of forms of renewables self-consumption, should be added to this.
ROSE Energy Community Designer is the first software for preliminary REC/CSC simulation which allows energy and economic performance estimation in the light of provisions of the new regulatory environment defined by the TIAD and the MASE draft decree.
ROSE Energy Community Designer makes it possible to easily create a REC/CSC configuration to simulate energy and economic performances, analyse the results obtained and compare the results of different configurations.
The latest version of the software introduces the new self-consumption configurations envisaged in the regulations and allows parameter setting management for incentives on individual production plants based on their size, geographical area and connection date.
ROSE Energy Community Designer also includes numerous options for configuring the technical characteristics of accumulator systems, process calculations on variable market data and parametrise configurations financed by capital grants.
ROSE Energy Community Designer supports energy and economic analysis for REC/CSC feasibility studies, also with different simulations for the same primary substation configuration.
- Simple configuration for consumers, prosumers, producers and accumulator systems with consumption estimated through specific statistical profiles by type of member and the option of importing personalised consumption profiles.
- Estimate of energy and economic performances according to the regulatory framework outlined by the TIAD and by the MASE draft decree.
- Export of simulation data to Excel files, including data on annual, monthly and daily aggregates for the community and individual members.
